·I was searching for a nice hotel in Amsterdam within our budget for a weekend and I found Met Hotel. After reading the good reviews and seeing the pictures I decided to book it...and I'm glad that I did. It's an amazing new design hotel, the rooms are big, modern and exceptionally clean, the neighborhood is really calm and the hotel is not super big which means not a lot of noise or busy lounge/breakfast. If you need a nice calm stay not packed with tourists, away from the crowd... that's the place! It's not in the touristy center but you can easily reach the points of interest by foot or metro/tram! The staff was also really friendly and helpful. I would stay here again for sure!

Our daughter celebrated her 12th birthday there and since she was born on February 14th, she was given extra special treatment. The rooms were great, the hotel employees were very friendly and accommodating and the breakfast selection was delightful.
